It's been a bit since my last post, and it occurred to me that I could write about our parties. ^_^

Hiking for a Day with EO Bug Repellent
I took my parents dog, Lacy Mae, out hiking with me today. The place we went to was very hilly and it was quite hot, but all in all it was still very enjoyable.
I made some big repellent for me with essential oils: blend #3 in the Connie & Alan Higley reference guide. Plus, I made a flea/tick collar for Lacy which basically consisted of purification and peppermint, mixed in ribbing alcohol, and her collar to soak it up.
Both worked wonderfully. Neither of us came back with any creepy crawly and I kid you not when I say the trails were crawling with ticks. Thank God they worked!

The new photo art is...
Black Pepper! This is a wonderful oil which my older brother had on a camping trip we took. It came in very handy. Enjoy!

Just Uploaded a New Photo Art
I've just finished a photo art on Bergamot essential oil!
I'm a huge tea drinker and I've had my fair share of teas with bergamot in it. It never occurred to me that it was a citrus. I'd always thought it was some kind of spice like cardamon. When I found out, it took me a while to wrap my head around the fact that it was a type of orange. Even now it feels wrong to think of it as such. (It feels like it should be a spice from India lol) One day I'm sure it will settle in.
