I took my parents dog, Lacy Mae, out hiking with me today. The place we went to was very hilly and it was quite hot, but all in all it was still very enjoyable.
I made some big repellent for me with essential oils: blend #3 in the Connie & Alan Higley reference guide. Plus, I made a flea/tick collar for Lacy which basically consisted of purification and peppermint, mixed in ribbing alcohol, and her collar to soak it up.
Both worked wonderfully. Neither of us came back with any creepy crawly and I kid you not when I say the trails were crawling with ticks. Thank God they worked!

Dorado Azul
During the
winter my nose becomes runny and I'd heard that Dorado Azul helps with drippy noses. It did help but what I
noticed more than that was how it enhanced my sense of smell, particularly
right after I put it on. When it first happened it actually startled me. Smells
that were once distant were suddenly in my face, so to speak. I've thoroughly
enjoyed this experience and now when I put it on the sides of my nose I'll pick
up another oil and sniff away.
