It's been a bit since my last post, and it occurred to me that I could write about our parties. ^_^
My Mom and I just finished our 2nd essential oils party (we are doing one every month) and had a blast. I meant to take pics but during prep and execution I completely forgot. >.< Today we focused on the Raindrop Technique and gave our participants a few drops of each oil to rub on their feet, while I gave a small demonstration of how it can be applied to animals using my Mom's cat Sassy, who has been fighting an infection of some kind for a while. We'll see how she does.
The guests had an amazing experience and were excited with the sensations they felt. After applying the last round I prompted them to put their hands on Sassy's rump and shoulders to see if they could feel the energy and heat from the applied oils; so they could get a feel for what was being described with not only themselves but an animal as well. It was quite enjoyable
Sassy did really well! Of course she wanted to get away (some of that probably has to do with being quarantined in the laundry room for days now) but when I applied the oils she would settle down and submit like she was tolerating it because some part of her liked it. Their were only two oils which she didn't like and seriously tried to get away from: Cypress & Basil. I can already tell a difference in her disposition. She has showed more energy than she has in a while, although that could just be the smell driving her around the bend. ;)
I can't wait for our next party! (I'll try to remember pictures next time. ^^)
