Spearmint Essential Oil

Spearmint (Mentha spicata), like many other herbs, has a history. It has been used by ancient cultures such as the Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks for various applications. Some of the uses were to freshen breath, as a digestive aid, to deter rats and mice from grain stores by spreading it around, colic, and more. It is still used in the Middle East as a tea after their meals.

It has an approximate ORAC of 5,398 (TE/L) and may help with emotional blocks. Spearmint may also help with feelings of balance and well-being.

I like making tea with it, especially when I want to relax and unwind. I'll put a drop directly on the tea bag or tea leaves and then add warm water. Adding it to the tea bag/leaves helps to disperse it without a sweetener.

I hope you enjoy this essential oil as much as I have! Here's where you can purchase this oil - Young Living Spearmint Essential Oil. If you haven't signed up here's where you can - Young Living Signup. Just use my member #1414970 for the "Who introduced you to Young Living?" section.

God bless you,
